"I have so much to thank you for!  Most importantly, the fantastic course, I learnt so much and had fun doing it.  I enjoyed the laid back and relaxed environment you offer.  Your small classroom and hands-on practical approach exposed me to all aspects of dog grooming.  Further-more it allowed me to gain extra tuition and practical experience on the more difficult techniques at my own pace without the pressures of having to move on which is most often the case with most commercial courses/ large classroom sizes. 

Your instruction was very clear and understandable, I was lucky to have such a distinguished, talented and passionate teacher with so many years experience.  Before the course, I had never taken scissors to a dog or used a set of hair or nail clippers!  At the start, I therefore enjoyed mostly assisting and watching others grooming dogs.  As well, working on dogs that were familiar with the grooming table such as Sasha, Chili, Blue and Tony which allowed me to gain early confidence and put to bed with ease the basic fundamental skills required. 

In time, I also enjoyed the challenge of working on more difficult dogs.  This will no doubt put me in good stead when I later start-up my own dog grooming business.
 
Thanks for all of the above and additionally, for the great meals, conversation and allowing me to stay at your guest house in Cooranbong with some great company – Kim and Robbie.  Also, for allowing me the flexibility to complete the course to suit my holiday schedule.  The sharing of your life experiences and very useful advice on working within the pet industry was icing on the cake.

"Dear Christine,

I would like to take this opportunity to thankyou for the experience at you Grooming School.

As you know, I have been grooming in a mobile grooming business for 5 years. After hearing about your school I thought it would be nice to advance my skill level. Working on my own I really had no idea what level I was at, I was a little nervous about starting the training.

After one day with you and your team I have learnt more technic than I gathered over all the years grooming on my own. It isn’t that I was a poor groomer, it was more that I continued at a level that was acceptable, clients were happy with my work so why change.

I now feel that my skill level is nothing short of a high standard, my skill is great my speed and precision is fare better than ever before. My Customers are loving how there dogs are being returned, I am now getting a higher level of referrals than I have ever had before.

"I am a student with the Grooming School and started out as a client who wanted to have her little dog groomed.

A friend who was extremely impressed with the grooming of the dogs at Christine’s Salon and recommended the Salon to me. He told me of all the breeds of dogs and each different hair cut and hair colour all of which is taught at the Grooming School.

The Grooming School has Christine Speerin as teacher and the School is very fortunate to have such a very talented groomer. As well as having her Master’s Degree she is the best Teacher a grooming school could have.
